Opposite to the market of Alburquerque this old house combines a vernacular typology with more refined modernist elements (back façade, paintings, door decoration…).
The building is to complete the dwelling program of an existing adjacent apartment, to which is linked at different levels. Ground floor plan retains its original structure of thick walls, brick vaults and dense spaces, while the upper storey becomes light and fluent.
