The Youth Center is the newest creative and recreational landmark in Cabanillas del Campo. Emerging only partly from the ground, the building develops most of its functions at lower levels, which face the river and new developments. The volume unfolds along the existing slope, enabling a pedestrian connection between the two levels through the continuous, accessible roof. A similar circulation occurs in the interior, a staggered space with specific functions within a seamless ambiance.

The building houses an open program: reading area, playroom, associations, classrooms, workshops, performance rooms... flexible enough to encourage the incorporation of new uses, within a changing environment that aims to achieve a high degree of self-management. The western end of the building raises over the planned park along the banks, generating a large covered outdoor space with great potential of attraction, a milestone in the sequence of open spaces along the creek.
